S/Y Empatia Polska

The Empatia Polska yacht is a ketch-type vessel. It has two masts and four main sails – genoa, jib, mainsail and mizzen. Together, they have an area of approx. 110 m2, which allows for quick and comfortable sailing.

S/Y Empatia II

The Empatia II yacht is a steel schooner-type ocean vessel. Its innovative specially designed steel structure focuses on ensuring extraordinary stability, safety and accessibility of the entire deck and cabins as well as enabling leisure relaxation or actively performing sailing tasks by any crew member, regardless of their age, physical shape or sailing skills.

The steel ketch-type S/Y Empatia Polska has two masts and four main sails – genoa, jib, mainsail and mizzen(approx. 110 sq. meters in total). It is a proven BRUECO unit based on the American ocean yacht Roberts 44. It can accommodate 6 – 7 people.

Currently, a couple hundred units of this type sail in the world. The S/Y Empatia Polska is the only one of its kind, equipped with exceptional amenities, greatly increasing the level of comfort and safety for people with no experience or with limitations.

On the S/Y Empatia Polska, we test new solutions planned for improvement and implementation on new yachts. The yacht is available for charter, which stands by the idea of making safe and comfortable sailing opportunities available to everyone, which is the core of Europa United Yachting.

Empatia II

The schooner-type steel ocean S/Y Empatia II is an innovative and unique design focusing on providing unprecedented comfort, safety and accessibility of the entire deck and cabins as well as enabling leisure relaxation or actively performing sailing tasks by any crew member, regardless of their age, physical shape or sailing skills.

The yacht can accommodate from 3 up to 16 people for sailing. The modern design places particular emphasis on maintaining the aesthetic values of the yacht – a slim silhouette, large glass windows, high-end materials and yacht finish combine the history of a traditional sailing ship with modern design.

INTERIORS

Empatia Polska

The crew members can use the largest room on the yacht – a spacious mess with comfortable sofas and a large table. A well-lit mess allows all cruise participants to comfortably spend time, eat or socialize. The crew mess is connected with a yacht kitchen – galley. The galley comes equipped with a stove, an oven, a sink, a refrigerator, comfortable and spacious kitchen cabinets and all the needed kitchen utensils and tableware.

The unit is equipped with 7 large berths. The bow cabin has three full-size berths. Cruise participants have access to private cabinetry with shelves, hangers for clothes and lockers for personal belongings. In the stern cabin there are 2 berths (double and single), private cabinets with shelves, spacious lockers under the bunks together with the stern bathroom.

Empatia II

By default, S/Y Empatia II will have a total of 12 berths, four on the upper deck, four on the lower deck and four berths in the stern for the crew. The yacht has large leisure areas on the upper and lower deck for the duration of a cruise or a stopover. There is a spacious lounge area under the deck, while on the upper deck, next to the kitchen, a spacious and comfortable dining area. The superstructure with large windows provides good visibility and allows to admire the views the inside of the yacht as well.

The galley is arranged to be as comfortable as possible for everyone, facilitating access to the knobs and switches necessary to operate the appliances.

There are a total of 4 bathrooms, two of which are very spacious with a shower. The yachts design allows for implementing different bathroom arrangement variations to accommodate other customer needs.

A possibility of arranging a separate sleeping area for rent in the stern with five bunks and a private bathroom is also covered by the yachts design.

The structure of the yacht also allows for many other configurations, including large double berths with private bathrooms and the installation of modern ecological energy solutions and home robotics.

Omega rail for the yachts helm

A special dedicated Omega-shaped railing around the steering wheel, thanks to which the helmsman leading the yacht or people staying near the yachts helm can easily support themselves.

A full reinforced and stronger railing around the entire deck for added security.

Handrailings below deck

Numerous handrails inside the yacht (also in the crew mess) allowing for safe and comfortable movement inside the yacht, even while sailing.

Mast pads

Comfortable and strong support pads for the crew operating the mainsail and around the mast. The solid construction of the basket-pads provides support and enables a person to work safe and stable.

Stern gate

A specially designed gantry-shaped structure that allows not only to attach the rigging, but also to increase safety and the variety of grip spots for everyone on the yacht.

Empatia II

  • A special yacht control system is equipped with dedicated audio-visual elements enabling the yacht to be guided also by people with limited visual, auditory and motor abilities.
  • Greatly improved space accessibility of a sailing yacht – the interior and the deck of the hull suitable for 16 people and the floors allowing for easy communication inside the entire deck, practically without thresholds allowing full access, even with a wheelchair.
  • Easy to use, even intuitive yacht equipment, taking into account all the needs of people with limited motor or sensory abilities.
  • Dedicated integrated kitchen system for seniors and people with limited motor and/or sensory abilities, ensuring the possibility of multi-dimensional adjustment (vertical and horizontal movement of wardrobe segments, vertical movement of worktops and wall cabinet elements).
  • Special markings for the yacht parts and elements (devices, equipment, surface, equipment) including Braille and sound signals, making the equipment extremely universal and allowing control by people with limited motor and/or sensory abilities.
  • An integrated, modular system of ensuring the accessibility of the yacht space for people with limited motor and/or sensory capacities and means of transport (such as lifts, stern bathing platform, dedicated strollers) enabling independent and comfortable movement around any place on the yacht.
  • An innovative electric on-board personal transporter with gyroscopic stabilization, also suitable for driving on unpaved surfaces, off-deck.
  • The optimal size of the yacht is adapted to a crew of 16 (including up to 6 people with external movement aids).
  • Providing the possibility of self-evacuation of each person, including those with limited motor and/or sensory capacities, thanks to the full coverage of the yacht with special safety and rescue systems, as well as the extremely durable and safe structure of the yachts hull based on a steel double bottom, two transverse bulkheads (bow and stern) and elevated gunwales.
